The Rev. Mike Mayor
Rector
Mike is a graduate of San Diego State University and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1996 at St. Thomas ’ Church in Towson , MD where he served as Assistant. He then served as Rector of St. Stephen’s Church—Severn Parish in Crownsville , MD; All Saints Church in Salt Lake City, UT; and St. Mary’s Church in Lakewood, WA. He subsequently served as an Assisting Priest at St. John’s in Gig Harbor, WA before coming to serve as Rector at Christ Church.
Mike has a certificate of advanced study in the field of congregational development and has served as a congregational consultant in the fields of evangelism and congregational development. Mike and his wife, Liana, met in San Diego and have been married since 1990. They have one child, Justin, who was born in July of 2005.
